Pic – Poster Italian Market

The friendly Italian Food Market, Italia in Piazza, returns to Huntingdon for the second year running on Friday 6 May in the Market Square and Saturday 7 May in the High Street from 9am to 5pm.  Italia in Piazza is an innovative and authentic Italian Food Market comprising 18 mouth-watering stalls, selling all the wonderful tastes you would expect to get Italy, such as parmigiano reggiano, prosciutto, salami, olives, extra virgin olive oils and much more.

Simon Faro, owner of Italia in Piazza says, “The market offers customers a truly Italian experience.  All the quality produce you expect to find from Italy is brought to your doorstep by professional Italian stall holders who will offer you a great customer service in a vibrant atmosphere.”  Specialist markets add an extra dimension to the town’s vibrancy and Huntingdon Town Partnership are pleased to host this event for the second time.

It is great news that artistic events will continue at the Commemoration Hall under the guidance of Lydia Eldridge so why not treat yourself to a double bill of comedy on Saturday 6 May at 7.30pm.  “Welcome to Afghanistan”, currently touring the UK, weaves a vivid tale of cynical politicians, bumbling generals and weary squaddies. Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.  This is followed by, “Welcome to the UK!” a hilarious look at modern Britain.  Tickets £8.50 and £7.50 concessions.
