Management of Towns and Cities is successfully established in over 500 locations in the UK. Town Management is about businesses and organisations working together in Partnership in a proactive way to improve their environment.
Huntingdon is a rapidly developing town, experiencing genuine economic growth. It has a vibrant and busy centre with a diverse range of independent and national retailers. Huntingdon Town Partnership aims to encourage businesses and key stakeholders to work together in a proactive way to help the town build on its strengths and respond to challenges.
The Partnership has an extensive breadth of partners and networks and is now firmly established as a key player in Huntingdon.
Thanks to the continued support of our core funders and members and the generosity of in-kind contributions, the Partnership has established a solid working foundation. We are confident that, at a time when Huntingdon is entering a phase of rapid development and improvement, the Partnership will continue to build on its record of success.
All sources of funding are important to secure the future of the Partnership. Generous core funding is received each year from the following organisations:
- Huntingdonshire District Council
- Huntingdon Town Council
- Churchmanor Estates
- St Benedict's Court
- Luminus Group
- Urban & Civic
- Anglian Water
Membership income is also of great importance to the smooth running of the organisation. Annual membership fees relate to the size and type of the business or organisation. Additional income is sourced through grants, promotional space and income from events and fundraising.
